It Finally Begins...

Well it finally happened... I have a classic car to restore! I gave up my 1966 Ford Falcon years ago because I didn't have the time, place or money to keep up with it and still use it for my daily driver. I told myself that when I could take care of those three inconvieniences I'd buy a Mustang or Camaro. That way the parts and information would be easily available for my first project.

Once I had the time, place and money the gas prices were over $4.00 a gallon! A friend of mine, Blaine, has a 1977 Fiat Spider. I thought the little Italian roadster was pretty sweet, so I decided to look for something similar. I finally found a 1970 MG B. The price was right, the parts and information readily available and it wasn't totally rusted out. (Mine is the one blue one out front)

Work on the MG was delayed due to other projects for family and friends, but I have started. The first goal is to get it on the road legally. Sure, I drove it into the garage and for a couple of rouge trips around the block, but it needs work. Exhaust, brakes, and windshield among other minor things.
